The American String Teacher Association (ASTA) National Conference is an annual family reunion--a chance to catch up with a lot of like-minded folks.

I was there with my Strum Bowing Groove Academy booth, spreading the word and working for the greater groove!

The world premiere of America, to US was a major cultural event in Oakland, CA.

Featuring a "Town Hall Cadenza", electronic effects, infectious grooves and breathtaking melodies, America, to US was the culmination of over 3 years of planning and preparation and was a remarkably successful experiment in community involvement in the orchestral world.

This brand-new electric violin concerto was the brainchild of Daniel Bernard Roumain and a co-commission with 2 other orchestras who will perform it later this year.
