I am so proud to be premiering a brand new electric violin concerto soon to be composed by Daniel Bernard Roumain! It is a co-commission by 3 orchestras, The Oakland Symphony, The Wheeling Symphony and one other New York based orchestra who will premiere it in their 26-27 season and so have not yet announced it. (No spoilers but that performance will be at Carnegie Hall.)
Daniel Bernard Roumain is not only a friend for over 20 years, he's also a fellow 6-string violin player, so this is an opportunity I've been waiting many years to make happen. |
